Coronary Risk Profile

A “Coronary Risk Profile” is one assessment that providers often use to determine a patient’s risk for coronary artery disease. This group of blood tests evaluates the level of several substances, including:

  • Lipoprotein a (Lpa)
  • S. Homocysteine (S.HCY)
  • High Density Lipoprotein (HDL)
  • Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL)
  • Triglycerides

The combined levels of these substances allow a provider to estimate a patient’s risk of developing coronary artery disease.
